I entered politics because I was concerned about the direction of our country under the Conservative’s leadership, especially with regard to climate change. I knew I needed to step up to help build a better future for my kids and future generations.

Since then, our Liberal team has worked hard to move forward on the priorities that matter most to Canadians. Over the past eight years, we have taken bold climate action while simultaneously working to build a sustainable economy that works for all Canadians.

And together, we’ve delivered. Whether it’s putting a price on pollution that cleans our air and puts more money back in Canadians’ pockets, protecting 30% of our oceans and coasts, or creating new middle class jobs in the clean economy, we’re focused on you and building a better future for our kids and grandkids.

This progress builds on our record of bold action to keep Canada moving forward for everyone.

But with Pierre Poilievre and his Conservative Party pushing cuts that would gut the middle class, importing far-right American-style politics, and promising to make pollution free again and roll back our climate action, we are going to need your support to keep working to build a more prosperous and sustainable future.

Right now, our Liberal team is quickly approaching our December 15 mid-month online fundraising deadline. Hitting our $1 million target is crucial to put us in the best position to fight back against Pierre Poilievre’s reckless Conservative Party.
