99th Annual Meeting Recap

On Friday, December 8, the Chamber held its 99th Annual Meeting at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel. The event, which was sponsored by Comcast, is a key event for the Arlington business community and celebrated the Chamber's accomplishments of 2023, and looked ahead at what's to come in 2024.

The event included the presentation of the Committee of the year, Chair and President's awards, and a keynote speech from Robert M. Blue, Chair, President and CEO of Dominion Energy. Blue shared that "the Chamber is an outstanding advocate for its members, for business generally, and for the kind of other policies that set everyone up for success."

2024 Chair David Kinney, Clarendon LLC announced the Chamber’s 2024 Executive Committee including that Steve Cooper, NextUp Solutions will serve as the 2024 Chair-Elect and the 2024 Chair of the Board of Directors.

Young Professionals Series: Networking

Our final Young Professionals series event of 2023 focuses on the Chamber’s pillar of Networking. Young Professionals will be able to connect with like-minded individuals and gain fresh insights into networking techniques by learning from a Chamber member. Through interactive exercises and open networking opportunities, attendees will get to know each other on a personal and professional level, and learn why networking is so important in building relationships. 

We encourage our Chamber members to share this event with the young professionals in their network. Walk-ins are welcome.

Join the Membership Engagement Committee

Are you looking to increase your involvement with the Arlington Chamber? The Membership Engagement Committee is seeking volunteers. Committee members provide an annual touch point for all member businesses and organization, ensuring that each member has a resource to help them connect with the Chamber opportunities that will best align with their objectives. Committee requirements are 10 calls per month, and reporting results at a brief monthly meeting.
