Friend,

Across the country, we’ve seen increasingly extreme restrictions on ballot access, especially for voters from marginalized communities. And now we’re seeing conservative judges attempt to eviscerate what is left of the incredibly important Voting Rights Act.

A recent ruling from a federal circuit court is an outright attack on the right to vote. Seeing one of our nation’s core principles consistently under attack by judges and elected officials is incredibly troubling.

In New Jersey, we’re proud to say that our administration has enacted some of the most expansive voting reforms to protect and expand voting rights and increase transparency in our elections. Together, we’ve spent the last six years making it easier for folks to vote.

Our state has some of the highest voter turnout in the nation, thanks in part to our work expanding our state’s vote-by-mail program and establishing in-person early voting. This is just the beginning as we strive for more, including same-day voter registration.

More people voting and having their voices heard is always a good thing, and it's something we should fight for every day.

Add your name today to show you stand with our administration’s important work of expanding the right to vote, especially as we see the opposite happening across the country. [[link removed]]

When everyone votes and their voices are heard by the people in power, we’ll make our government stronger and fairer.

Best,
Phil
