Secretary of State Godlewski calls on Senator LeMahieu to remove Robert Spindell Jr. from WEC for submitting a fraudulent Certificate of Votes

*Madison, WI.* - Today, following the admission that Wisconsin Election Commissioner Robert Spindell Jr. lied? to the Office of the Secretary of State as part of a scheme to overturn the 2020 election, Secretary Sarah Godlewski sent a letter [ [link removed] ] to State Senator Devin LeMahieu requesting that he remove Commissioner Spindell from the Wisconsin Election Commission effective immediately.?

Secretary Godlewski?s letter references the settlement in Penebaker et al v. Hitt et al, in which Commissioner Spindell and the nine other fraudulent electors acknowledged their 2020 Certificate of Votes [ [link removed] ] for Donald Trump submitted to the Secretary of State?s Office was unlawful and "used as part of an attempt to improperly overturn the 2020 presidential election results [ [link removed] ]?.?

Secretary Godlewski released the following statement regarding the letter:?

?Wisconsin Election Commissioner Robert Spindell Jr. admitted that he was not a qualified 2020 presidential elector and co-signed a fraudulent Certificate of Votes and submitted them to my office. That unlawful certificate was used as part of a larger scheme to overturn the election. The people of Wisconsin cannot trust the integrity and moral compass of Commissioner Spindell to administer our elections. Senator LeMahieu should immediately remove him from Wisconsin?s Election Commission.

?This public acknowledgment confirms that Commissioner Spindell and the other fraudulent electors knew what they did was wrong and did it anyway. I hope Senator LeMahieu will do what?s right by removing Commissioner Spindell from Wisconsin?s Election Commission. Commissioner Spindell should not have power over administering elections for one more day.?
