In predictable fashion, the serially indicted carnival barker, who has spent months berating and defaming everyone involved in his $250 million fraud trial in New York, has made an eleventh-hour decision NOT to testify in his own defense as the expansive case winds to a close. Shocking! It seems all that bluster was for show, as the serially indicted grifter backed down in a pair of all-caps Truth Social screeds declaring the sweeping investigation into his crooked business dealings nothing more than a witch hunt. New York Attorney General Letitia James shrugged off the con man's change of heart, stating, "Whether or not Trump testifies again tomorrow, we have already proven that he committed years of financial fraud and unjustly enriched himself and his family. No matter how much he tries to distract from reality, the facts don’t lie."

Rudy has already been found liable in the defamation lawsuit brought by Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Wandrea "Shaye" Moss, who endured threats and harassment after they became the target of a conspiracy theory spread by the disgraced ex-president and his allies. The only issue to be determined at the trial is the amount of damages, if any, Giuliani must pay. Is a gazillion dollars an option?
