Violent Crime Reduction Summit:
Partnerships for Safer Communities

Partnerships are essential to establishing comprehensive, collaborative, and sustainable approaches to address the violent crime challenges faced by our communities. Reducing violent crime takes the dedication and contributions of the community?advocates and stakeholders?to find effective solutions for their neighborhoods.

That?s why we are hosting the 2023 Bureau of Justice Assistance* Violent Crime Reduction Summit, Partnerships for Safer Communities in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 11-13.? *

The nationwide Summit is an opportunity to unite partners and programs from across the country who are working to reduce violent crime and share data-driven, research-based solutions to strengthen public safety.

The Summit will include nationally recognized criminal justice practitioners and subject-matter experts who will conduct interactive team sessions that offer action-oriented, proven strategies to build capacity in areas such as prevention, intervention, and reentry strategies; enforcement, investigation, and prosecution strategies; community and partner engagement; and youth engagement.??

We look forward to engaging with participants at the Violent Crime Reduction Summit and bringing highlights from the Summit to our audiences on BJA?s digital platforms.
