Your attendance at lobby day is always essential to the passage of solid pro-life legislation and defunding Planned Parenthood! Our work is making a difference and lives are being saved!

We must keep bringing the truth to those around us about how precious innocent human lives are. We must take the message to our communities and change hearts and minds at the same time we are creating policies through legislation that respect and honor innocent human lives.

Governor Parson greeted lobby day participants and shared good news about abortion numbers dropping.

John Ashcroft was the recipient of Missouri Right to Life’s “Champion of Life” award at Tuesday’s Pro-Life Action Day in the state Capitol.

His keynote address at the noon rally illustrated why he received this award. He talked about the many battles to pass pro-life legislation and his shock and outrage over the violence of abortion. Many of his comments moved the crowd to standing ovations.

He stated that of all of his public service positions -- State Auditor, Governor, U.S. Senator and U.S. Attorney General -- none were more important to him than his work to protect unborn children.

In his comments on the incongruity of Roe v. Wade with the principals of our country’s founding, he said that “our liberty and freedom are too big for a coffin that small.” He thanked all in attendance for their commitment, their perseverance and their vision saying that “without vision, the people perish; and without people, the vision perishes.”
