As I thought about my mission to advance investigative journalism and keep exposing the truth, I knew, with no doubts, that I could not take their money. Bootstrapping a new venture isn't easy, and I'm not a wealthy man who could fund a new company out of pocket, so I turned to men and women just like you with no agenda other than to help me do what I do best . . . investigate and report. My obligation to the 3,800 Americans who have supported OMG far outweighs any financial interest I would owe to an investor.
