Dear Friend,
I hope you saw our video last night where an OMG journalist attended three undercover meetings with a staffer from Congressman Jim Costa's office here. He talked about the presence of other Chinese bio labs operating IN THE UNITED STATES.
When I started OMG, I was approached by big investors who were offering me millions to create my new media company.
They all had big visions I shared and would back them up with big dollars.
As I thought about my mission to advance investigative journalism and keep exposing the truth, I knew, with no doubts, that I could not take their money.
Bootstrapping a new venture isn't easy, and I'm not a wealthy man who could fund a new company out of pocket, so I turned to men and women just like you with no agenda other than to help me do what I do best . . . investigate and report.
My obligation to the 3,800 Americans who have supported OMG far outweighs any financial interest I would owe to an investor. OMG’s supporters made this happen without asking a thing from me, and they have my gratitude.
OMG is here for the long haul, and our need for support will continue.
I need to expand OMG with three new hires and have the breathing room to meet payroll for a few months. To do that, I have to raise another $48,376, and with the workload our small staff is carrying, my goal is to start flying in candidates next week.
Please donate today so I can hit this goal and focus on our ongoing investigations if you haven't already.
I'm taking a short break right now to write you, but the lure of our next story draws me back to the editing room.
It’s a massive story with implications that will rock Congress and most Americans. You will be shocked by what has been hidden from us by our nation’s leaders. It’s nefarious.
The stories OMG has already released are prime examples of why I could never work with big-dollar investors. We exposed Best Buy and the financial behemoth BlackRock.
Just this week, I’ve been on the phone with multiple sources inside investment powerhouses, State Street Corporation and Vanguard who are sending me internal documents that they want me to publish!
We also released a tragic story about the suicide of the daughter of a Saudi diplomat after being forced into an arranged marriage.
Could Fox News report that story? Likely not, Saudi billionaire Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud previously owned 17% of News Corp.
Any investor I could have partnered with would have discouraged me from exposing BlackRock, as their money would likely be part of the company's $109 billion holdings!
So, it comes down to me, you, and a small group of Americans who care about independent investigative journalism.
America needs us, and OMG cannot exist without your support. So please, donate today and help me reach the goal so OMG can hire three new staffers to keep going.
With most of our investigations, any other corporate newsroom would have their executives weighing the consequences of investors or advertisers and who they will upset in Congress. Their legal review of footage would take days if not weeks, and the public would continue to be put at risk or kept in the dark.
We can move quickly without having to weigh who we’ll upset and we’re confident in our accuracy in reporting . . . because we were there, in person, to capture the footage and confront the subjects of our reports.
And with your support, you’ll continue to see the results of OMG’s work for years to come!
Stay tuned, and thank you so much for your support.
In Truth,
James O’Keefe Founder and CEO O'Keefe Media Group
