As we all deal with the effects of the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic, it’s clear that this is a difficult time when we must look to our leaders to provide guidance and reassurance. Earlier this week the deadline for candidates to file forms to run as delegates to the 2020 Democtatic National Convention passed, and the remaining presidential campaigns are now reviewing the submissions. The next important deadline to remember is March 30, when signed nominating petitions are due to the Secretary of State.

As Governor Murphy continues to recover from surgery to remove a tumor on his kidney, he has been working cooperatively with Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver, Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli and other state leaders to direct New Jersey’s response to COVID-19. Today the Governor returned to Trenton to lead the daily Coronavirus briefing [[link removed]] , and it is great to see him helping keep us all safe.

With many seniors and other vulnerable residents living in the 3rd Congressional District, Congressman Andy Kim is working to make sure all of his constituents are informed about Coronavirus and how to stay safe and prevent the disease from spreading.
