I have exciting news, John: I just filed my paperwork and will be on the ballot to be California’s next United States Senator. This is a deeply exciting moment — and I am honored to be running for the seat that the late Senator Dianne Feinstein once occupied. She was a trailblazer, a mentor, and a dear friend. I’m thinking of her today, as I run for U.S. Senate to continue her work to ban assault weapons, protect the environment, champion reproductive freedom, and make California a better place for us all. Here she is when I first announced my campaign for Congress, many years ago: Appearing on the ballot for the United States Senate is a culmination of all of our hard work, John. Our work to protect our democracy, to make our economy work for every Californian, and to build more affordable housing. This campaign is about all of us — our strong, growing grassroots movement to attack inflation and bring down the cost of living, to create good-paying new jobs, and to protect our planet. To make a difference. To see and feel real progress. With less than three months to go in this campaign, I’m fired up and excited to meet even more Californians across our great state. We have limited time to reach voters and turn them out to the polls, and I need your help to make it across the finish line.

Thank you very much for your support. My name would not be on the ballot without your help. — Adam
