Senate Republicans confirmed that Mitch McConnell’s handpicked candidate, Eric Hovde, will enter the U.S. Senate race in Wisconsin.

Hovde has already pledged to spend up to $20 million of his own personal fortune to defeat me — and the GOP plans to spend up to $125 million to flip this seat red.

NRSC Chair Steve Daines, the Republican Senator leading the charge to flip the Senate majority red, confirmed this week that, “Eric Hovde is going to get in that race, we’re behind him.”

Now that the secret’s out and Senate Republicans launched his campaign for him, Eric Hovde will make his own official announcement any day now.
