Dear John,
No person is out of reach of God’s forgiveness – no matter their past.
This is truth that more people in Africa need to know… which is why I’m writing today to ask you to consider a generous gift towards our $350,000 for gospel proclamation in 2024.
Your support will help to bring the news of God’s forgiveness to people like 19-year-old Fabrice, a Rwandan man who was converted during African Enterprise missions earlier this year.
Fabrice lives in Nkungu sector in Rusizi. He was studying at a vocational education centre, but had become caught up in drug addiction, alcohol abuse and other risky behaviours with a group of wayward young people. Fabrice says he used to spend almost all his money on going to bars.
Previously, Fabrice had been very dismissive of the Church and took pleasure in insulting anyone who tried to share the good news of Jesus Christ with him. But God was at work in his heart, and when the African Enterprise mission arrived at his vocational education centre in July, he was ready to receive the truth.
Fabrice heard that Jesus, born at Christmastime, came to earth to seek and save people like him – the lost. And he decided to receive Christ as his personal Saviour and master of his life. He asked for forgiveness and the African Enterprise mission team prayed with him.
Since then, Fabrice’s life has completely changed. He’s joined a church, is building healthy relationships with Christian friends, and says, “My personal fellowship with God is increasing day by day through prayers, Bible reading, and singing.”
Best of all, despite his past behaviours, Fabrice has confidence in his salvation and has been set free from guilt and shame by the knowledge of Jesus’ complete sacrifice for him on the cross.
“I have decided to never turn back from Christ because I have experienced more peace with Him than ever before,” Fabrice says.
