That's how long our Young Dem Representatives were in session yesterday. With over a hundred bills to take action on they decided to stay for however long it took because they knew how important it is to be there in the Chamber standing up and representing their constituents and young Granite Staters. Some had children at home waiting for them while others had to miss work.
It's not easy to serve in the legislature when you're a mom to a young child, or a college student, or going to session means missing out on work. But our Young Democrats Caucus have made these sacrifices in order to push helpful legislation like rent stability, a student bill of rights to combat the crushing financial weight of loans, and supporting young families.
