** Major Endorsement from Planned Parenthood NorCal Action Fund!

I’m proud to have earned the sole endorsement of Planned Parenthood NorCal Action Fund this week!


This is a remarkable endorsement in our field of candidates. As made clear by this week’s horrifying Texas Supreme Court action to drag Kate Cox into court to beg for urgent medical care to terminate a pregnancy with a fatal genetic condition that is putting her health at risk, today’s fight for reproductive freedom isn’t just about casting the right votes. It is about helping to lead—and win—the fight. Last year, 70% of Senate District 3 voters cast their ballots for Proposition 1, which enshrines the right to reproductive freedom in the California Constitution. To make that promise real, I’ll fight against street-level attacks on clinics, threats to privacy for patients, criminalization of doctors, and funding cuts for clinics and services.

That is why Planned Parenthood Northern California Action Fund’s endorsement means so much. Against the backdrop of uncertainty at the national level, and with the health care, safety, and reproductive freedom of so many people at stake, effective representation has never mattered more.
