URGENT: Corrupt Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has asked the state Supreme Court to intervene and stop a Dallas woman from having an abortion.
Texas political thugs have no business forcing a woman to beg for vital medical treatment in court or intimidating doctors who may help her with potential lifetime imprisonment.
Paxton's office petitioned the high court after a Travis County district judge granted a temporary restraining order allowing Kate Cox, 31, to terminate her non-viable pregnancy. Paxton also threatened three hospitals with legal action if they provided abortion care at their facilities.
We don't have to let them get away with this!
Tell Greg Abbott to end this persecution of Kate Cox and call off his thugs. In tragic cases like this, the decision about whether or not to terminate a non-viable pregnancy is between a woman and her doctor. It does not include Greg Abbott, or his corrupt AG Ken Paxton.
Situations like this are no less horrifying just because they are also completely expected in Greg Abbott's dystopian Texas. We are with Kate Cox, and with everyone who has needed abortion care and was impeded from receiving it.
