Dear John,

140,081 confirmed cases of COVID-19 all over the world. 5,123 people have lost their lives as a result of the virus. Probably when you read this email, these numbers are going to be higher.

Many around the world are worried about how the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) will affect their lives, as we are seeing unprecedented travel bans and closures to public buildings and large gatherings.

Also, in some areas of the world, many are quarantined because the outbreak is now in their community or someone was infected in their school or place of employment. In these locations, schools are closed, or people are unable to get to work or grocery stores.

This hits close to home for CitizenGO too. We have a team assembled all over the world ready to fight for our values, the right to life of pre-born babies, the natural family, and religious freedom.

From Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh, North Virginia, Ontario, Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Paris, Moscow, Guadalajara, Buenos Aires, Geneva, Bratislava, Zagreb, Nairobi, Berlin, and Rome -- we are far and wide!

This is why we are asking you today for two things.

First, we are asking you and all our members to join the entire CitizenGO team in prayer for the victims of COVID-19, for all those who contracted the illness and their families, for those who remain in quarantine, and for those whose lives have been completely displaced.

At CitizenGO, we believe our God is greater than any infirmity or circumstance. Join us as we unite in prayer.

When I think of situations like this, I am often reminded of the words in the Bible verse of Matthew 18:20

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

CitizenGO is a community of over 12 million. We will pray together, even when we don’t see each other.

Second, CitizenGO remains committed to our mission. What the media is failing to mention is the 153,425 pre-born babies who will die each day as a result of an abortion. (Data provided by the World Health Organization).

While the outbreak of COVID-19 continues, abortion clinics around the world remain open, and representatives of the abortion industry and lawmakers are meeting in private to increase abortion access and funding.

So, we are asking you to continue to stand with CitizenGO as we fight for the values that matter the most.

We will continue to use petitions to expose the evils of abortion and the attacks on the natural family, and fight for those who have no voice.

As we all pray for those affected by COVID-19, please continue to engage with CitizenGO.

Together we will defeat the COVID-19. Together we will keep on fighting for life, family, and freedom. Let’s overcome fear with hope. Together.

Thank you,

Ignacio Arsuaga and the entire CitizenGO team
