Team,

Now that the Mississippi primary election has passed and we’re moving forward to the general in November, we wanted to take a moment to share some wonderful moments from our campaign so far.

Since Mike announced his campaign for U.S. Senate last year, he’s been busy travelling all over Mississippi to meet with communities and speak to voters about the issues that matter most to them. Here are just some of the many highlights:

Mike met with young professionals who chose to stay in Mississippi to build their careers and families, and discussed ways we can give more young Mississippians a reason to stay and invest in our state.

In February, Mike was invited to Hanging Moss Road Church of Christ to speak at their annual Black History Month Banquet, and spoke about the crucial importance of the Black community making their voices heard by voting and getting involved in the political process.

At Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mike spoke to some incredibly bright students at the Reuben Anderson Pre-Law Convocation, where they offer a great program to prepare students for the careers that await.

Ahead of primary day, Mike met with Mississippi Democratic County Chairs from across the Delta at the B.B. King Museum to thank them for all their hard work getting out the vote.

In multiple cities across the state, our campaign held meet and greet events for community members to have a coffee and conversation with Mike about what they hope to see in Mississippi’s future and what kind of leadership they want in Washington.

And on primary election day, Mike joined Mississippi AFL-CIO for a good ol’ crawfish boil as voters went to the polls.

This is just a tiny sliver of all the community engagement Mike’s been doing these past six months since launching his campaign for Senate, and now that we’re officially taking on Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith in the general, there’s so much more to come!

Mike is committed to reaching voters where they are and building the strongest field program Mississippi has ever seen in order to flip this seat blue and move our state forward for each and every one of us – but it all takes resources.

Pitch in $10 or whatever you can afford today to keep Mike on the road and help us grow our movement for a brighter Mississippi in these next seven months before Election Day:
