Now that we’re less than a year from Ike’s election, more and more voters are tuning in every day, and anxious to make their voices heard.
One issue that has come up again and again on the campaign trail is the high cost and the operational disruption that comes from laws that forbid farmers from repairing implements in the field.
The state of Colorado passed a state-level Right to Repair bill to address this problem, and farmers are happy about it. Ike believes we should have a federal Right to Repair bill modeled on the one passed in Colorado, and has committed to sponsoring the bill if he's elected to represent the 4th District in Congress.
Ike has put in the legwork in rural Colorado and people already know him. But to win in this sprawling rural district will take significant spending on the ground and on the airwaves, across nearly one-third of our state.
