Happy Birthday Governor Youngkin!
<[link removed]>
This week, Governor Youngkin launched Building Blocks for Virginia Families
to ensure families can choose the early childhood education option that best
supports their children in their most formative years and enter school ready to
learn. Through Building Blocks for Virginia Families, every eligible child will
be able to continue to access high quality options that meet their family’s
specific childcare needs and Virginia will remain the national leader in

Tots donations. Through the gift of a new toy or book, the Marines' Toys for

Adorned for a true 'Commonwealth Christmas', Richmond's Executive Mansion is
decorated for the season. The First Lady welcomed multiple groups who traveled
from a variety of regions to take in the Williamsburg-inspired decor. Visitors
included Ambassadors from Welcome Centers across Virginia along with Virginia
Tourism Corporation President and CEO Rita McClenny; several chapters of the
Virginia Federation of Republican Women (VFRW); and spouses of United States
Marines who are currently stationed at Quantico.

'A Commonwealth Christmas' at the Executive Mansion offers contemporary
twists on centuries old #homehistory Christmas traditions, utilizing natural
design elements that have remained seasonal staples from the Commonwealth’s
earliest documented celebrations to today. Reminiscent of days past when
decorations were not intended to last from year to year but enjoyed in the
present moment, nature’s beauty is captured this season in Virginia’s home.
Seen by early settlers as good luck tokens for the coming year, halls are
decked with evergreen boughs and fresh flora, feathers and fruits ordain the
mantles in reference to the Della Robia style wreaths of Colonial Williamsburg.
Plan your visit to the Mansion this holiday season to take in 'A Commonwealth
Christmas.' Tours will be held each Tuesday and Friday from 10 am to 2 pm
through December 15th.
