John,

Last weekend Pierre Poilievre released a new “documentary” about the housing crisis in Canada.

The video is supposed to explain the causes and solutions to the housing crisis, but it only addresses part of the problem.

Somehow he forgot to mention the main cause of Canada’s housing crisis: Mass immigration.

Maybe he and his team were hoping people wouldn’t notice because of the fancy graphics and slick editing.

He alludes to it a couple of times when mentioning “population growth” and “increased demand”, but he never directly mentions immigration.

In fact, the word immigration is not used even once in the entire 15-minute video.

I can’t say I’m surprised. Poilievre has so far consistently ignored mass immigration and its consequences.

And this, despite the fact that it is the most important issue facing Canada today.

It’s a driving factor behind almost every other problem in our society including the housing crisis, our dysfunctional healthcare system, deficient infrastructure, low productivity, stagnating wages, and so much more.

Any politician serious about fixing our broken country must start with mass immigration, or else they’re only offering temporary band-aid solutions.

We need to attack this issue from both sides, supply and demand. These half measures Poilievere is offering are unacceptable.

And it’s not just Poilievre, it’s clear that he’s muzzled all of his MPs and stops them from speaking out against mass immigration.

For example, last week Poilievre’s Housing Critic, Scott Aitchison, was asked what he thought about a recent Léger poll showing that two thirds of Canadians believed that higher immigration levels were causing the housing crisis and worsening healthcare.

What did Aitchison have to say?

He said that immigration was not a part of the problem, that “we need more Canadians”, and just need to build more houses.

Is he detached from reality?

These so-called Conservatives talk a big game about economics, but when it comes to immigration the laws of supply and demand suddenly disappear!

Look, I know Pierre Poilievre. I worked with him for years in the Harper government. He’s not stupid. He understands the role immigration plays in the housing crisis.

So, why won’t he talk about it? Why has he muzzled all his MPs?

It’s simple. Pierre and his handlers think they’re on track to victory, and they won’t do anything they perceive as risky to jeopardize that.

They’re scared that if they bring up immigration, the Liberals and the media will call them racist and force them off message.

They’re too cowardly to talk about the most important issue of our time because they're afraid of being called mean names.

They care more about power than they do about the future of our country.

We are living in difficult times. The only hope for our future is for bold leaders to courageously confront the issues of our time.

John, only the PPC is bold enough to stand against mass immigration.
