Here we go.
It’s official: AIPAC’s top recruit just announced his campaign against my movement brother and colleague, Congressman Jamaal Bowman.
This announcement comes the same week that House Republicans introduced, and passed, a resolution to censure Jamaal — an action that even Republicans on the Ethics Committee agree is a waste of time.
Republican-funded super PACs are literally standing by to launch attack ads against Jamaal. They’ve been waiting years for the chance to take him out, and they think this is their opportunity. And this is on the heels of news that AIPAC is recruiting primary challengers to target me.
If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly:
We need to keep Jamaal in Congress, where he’s been fighting for bold investments in programs that support at-risk youth, improve our education infrastructure, and ensure families don’t have to choose between putting food on the table or paying rent.
Together, we’ve worked together to demand paid sick time for rail workers, because no one should have to choose between their life and their livelihood. We’ve worked together to hold Republicans accountable for their harmful and disconnected policies. And we’ve worked together in our calls for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza to save lives, return all hostages, and deliver lifesaving humanitarian aid.
I know that our stances make us both targets for AIPAC and its Republican billionaire donors. Don’t forget:
We need all-hands-on-deck to keep Jamaal’s progressive voice in Congress.
Yours in service,
Ayanna
