Folks,

Reproductive health care is under attack nationwide. Here in Virginia, we narrowly escaped the GOP’s planned abortion ban when Democrats took full control of the General Assembly in November. But not every state has been as fortunate. Right now, the Commonwealth is the only state in the south without some form of a restriction on reproductive health care.

As we continue to see stories from across the nation that underscore the real, human toll of the Dobbs decision, it couldn’t be more evident that we need to codify Roe v. Wade into law and make sure Democrats have the final word on reproductive health care. But the only way we can make that happen is by expanding our Democratic Senate majority.

So I’m asking: Will you sign my petition today to commit to electing defenders of reproductive health care to the Senate? [link removed]

If Republicans take back the Senate, we could not only see a national abortion ban, but also further efforts to curtail access to birth control too.

By now, you know that I’ll always speak up in support of reproductive health care. But frankly, that’s not enough. If we want to protect care for women across the entire country, I need your help.
