"You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever!"
– Psalm 30:11-12
Africa & Europe
Pray for IJM’s team in Uganda as they participate in 16 Days of Activism to prevent violence against women and girls. Praise God for leaders like the Gender and Culture State Minister, who made an impassioned plea for people to pursue justice in the courts in cases of sexual violence against children. Pray that these awareness events would have the effect of mobilizing the public to act to end violence against children.
Latin America
Praise God for the inauguration of new offices at a Clinic for Legal Assistance for victims of violence in El Salvador. This university facility usually receives victims of physical or sexual violence who do not have the means to pay for legal representation and need pro-bono assistance. With IJM’s support, the clinic’s offices were remodeled following guidelines that consider the trauma suffered by victims as well as their physical needs. Pray that these facilities will improve the legal process and that they make victims feel heard and cared for.
South Asia
Pray for quick recovery from a recent cyclone and earthquake that struck different parts of South Asia. These natural disasters impacted tens of thousands of people and severely disrupted daily life. Pray for local governments as they clean up affected cities, roads and airports. Pray for comfort for families who lost loved ones and pray for quick recovery back to normal—so that criminals and traffickers do not use these situations to exploit people in poverty.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for a significant conviction in the Philippines! Arrested after offering to abuse her six-year-old son and a one-year-old girl for profit, a 32-year-old trafficker was found guilty and sentenced to four life terms, marking one of the strongest penalties ever in a case of online child sexual exploitation (OESC). This conviction, amplified by media reports, sends a powerful deterrent message: committing the crime of OSEC has severe legal consequences. We pray fervently that this message continues to spread in the fight against OSEC.

It was a true blessing to engage in heartfelt prayers, uplifting worship and meaningful communion with one another. May this prayer retreat continue to bear fruit in our lives, fostering a deepened sense of spiritual connection, renewed strength and a lasting impact on IJM’s mission.
The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
