As someone who has defended freedom and democracy on our soil and abroad, I have to say one thing, John: We cannot and must not allow Vladimir Putin to win in Ukraine.

We know from history there's no satisfying power-hungry bullies like Putin. If he conquers Ukraine, it will only embolden him.

That is why I'm horrified that congressional Republicans are blocking critical aid to Ukraine. If they do not pass a bill this month, funding to Ukraine will run out, giving Putin a clear path to victory.

I wish I could say I'm shocked. But as we've seen from Brian Fitzpatrick's Republican party again and again – their weak leadership means letting MAGA run amok. And it's endangering all of us.

When I was a commander in the Army, I learned exactly how to stand up to bullies like Putin and how to get my troops in line. That's the same strength I'll bring to the halls of Congress. And with this latest crisis over aid to Ukraine, it's clear how desperately we need strong leaders right now.

I can't get there without your help, though, John. So, if you're tired of seeing MAGA Republicans hurt our national security and get away with it, please pitch in $10 or whatever you can.
