On Election Day just a few weeks back, TCP-endorsed candidates fought for their respective seats nationwide. The results called for a runoff in three crucial races in Houston, TX, on December 9th.
We need to get more Black representation into office, and this runoff is the perfect opportunity. But we can’t do it alone. We need help from our grassroots supporters like you, John. Will you help us put more TCP-endorsed Black leaders into critical seats by donating $10 to our Houston runoff fund today?
Who are we fighting for? you may ask. Well, let us introduce you: Letitia Plummer for City Council, Sheila Jackson Lee for Mayor, and Chris Hollins for Controller.
We need to keep our candidates’ opponents out of office, with their conservative stances such as putting more police on our streets and implementing harsher sentences–neither of which make our communities safer.
