The COVID-19 virus is causing tremendous worry, suffering, and economic calamity.

The last thing America needs is more cruel political decisions – like we saw yesterday when Senate Republicans blocked a paid sick leave package that would have provided needed relief for workers in need.

SUPPORT COVID-19 RELIEF

We voted in the House today for such a relief package that will provide free coronavirus testing, increase Medicaid funding for states, expand sick leave, extend unemployment benefits, and expand food assistance programs.

At this time of need, we cannot allow political divisions to stop us from doing our job to help Americans.
