MMB Forecasts Deficit
It didn’t take very long. A mere one session of complete Democrat, one-party control of state government has demonstrated plainly Democrats have contempt for financial responsibility and stable government.
February this year, Minnesota had a $19 billion surplus due to the immoral hyper over-taxation of hardworking Minnesotans. When that news was announced, Democrats were elated. They took our money, spent every dime, and also raised taxes by $10 billion to fuel a crazy, irresponsible 40% growth in government spending. Republicans warned about the dire consequences of Democrat’s terrible decision making but were ignored.
The results are now in. Earlier this week, Minnesota’s budget office released it’s annual November revenue forecast are projecting a $2.4 billion surplus for the rest of this biennium and a $2.31 billion deficit in the following budget cycle. In other words, in one session of reckless spending Democrats turned a $19 billion surplus into a looming $2.31 billion deficit. The Democrat approach is not just unsustainable but insulting to the taxpayers of Minnesota who are struggling with inflation in President Biden's failed economy. I speak to individuals each week who are planning to leave Minnesota permanently due to Democrats going wild with other people's money.
While campaigning for control of the Minnesota Legislature, Democrats promised bipartisanship and to return the state’s historic surplus. However, it became clear Democrat campaign promises were lies. As long as Democrats have complete and total control of government, their only motivation will be rewarding their allies and activist base, at the expense of our checking accounts.
Restoring balance to the budget will only be achieved by restoring balance to government via Republican majorities.

One of the few exceptions is our mutual support of Israel. Opposing Boycott-Divestment-Sanction (BDS) efforts schemed by anti-Jewish enemies seeking to destroy Israel is one area Sen.
