Word around the coffee table is that Liz Cheney’s new book “Oath and Honor” is spilling a bunch of insane details about Republican efforts to keep Trump in power.
I’ll say it - I’ve been consistently impressed with Liz Cheney’s bravery. She is one of the few Republicans with the guts to stand up to Trump. And now she’s sharing with us what other Republicans are trying to cover up.
In her book we learn random tidbits like some Republicans in Congress refer to Trump as “Orange Jesus.” But we’re also learning more sinister details about what transpired during January 6th and the aftermath.
The truth must come out and I’m grateful Liz Cheney is telling all. It’s also another reminder of how fragile our democracy is.
