At TakeAction, we hold the hard and the hopeful together, with members like you. Victories in 2023, whether at the Capitol or the ballot box, were not brought to us by saviors. They were built by us – every person willing to raise their voice, pledge their dollars, and take a risk to fight for the world we deserve. In our work, those risks looked like knocking on a door and talking to a stranger about deeply personal issues, renters confronting fear and tapping into righteous anger to build power, and our leaders running for office and organizing across religion and background to demand an end to violence in Gaza.

So, as I’m looking for hope going into 2024, I see us. Together. I see us pushing ourselves and each other to take action. We are on the picket lines and at the negotiating table. We are in the streets and at the doors. We are using our dollars, our votes, and our time to assert our values. We are confronting forces of oppression and corporate power at the Capitol and City Hall.
