Our fundraising numbers have dipped recently, but we can’t let up now.

Lauren Underwood For Congress

My finance team informed me that we’ve been seeing a dip in our fundraising numbers recently — and we could fall short of our final FEC goal of 2023 if we don’t pick up the pace.

John, I want to be honest with you by taking a few moments to explain why this upcoming deadline is one of our most important yet.

We’re required to turn in our finance report to the FEC in a few weeks — meaning that our fundraising numbers will be public for Republicans, political pundits, and dark-money groups supporting GOP extremism to see.

MAGA Republicans and their wealthy donors are already raising millions of dollars to attack Democrats and expand their House majority — and if they see that we’re falling short, they will take that as a sign of weakness and invest even more resources to defeat us.

We’ve been able to do a lot of good things for our district since you elected me to Congress — lowering costs for working families, fighting climate change, and improving health services for our veterans and service members.

But all of that could be in jeopardy if we don’t have the resources we need to defend this seat.

This grassroots team is the backbone of our movement — and every donation you make goes a long way toward helping us speak to voters across our district and invest in advertising and organizing.

So John, will you chip in $5 or any amount before our major FEC deadline to strengthen our campaign resources and help us win reelection? We need to show MAGA Republicans that we have what it takes to keep IL-14 blue and flip the House majority.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Let’s build on the good work that we’ve done for working families in our district.

Thanks,

Lauren
