John,
Ever since Rep. Ilhan Omar first joined Congress, she has been a consistent voice for the voiceless — whether it’s fighting to cancel student loan debt, reforming our criminal justice system, or helping children who can’t afford school lunch.
That’s why the Working Families Party is proud to officially endorse Rep. Ilhan Omar for reelection to represent Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District.
As we head into 2024, Ilhan is already facing several primary challengers — and AIPAC and right-wing billionaires are already planning to spend millions to defeat her.1
In the face of these attacks, we need to show her we have her back right now. Can you split a donation of $10 or any amount between Ilhan Omar’s campaign and WFP right now to help fight back?

We need more members of Congress who stand by their values even in the face of massive dark money attacks.
We need more members of Congress who understand how legislation can and must change our communities for the better, and who tirelessly fight for the people that our government has left behind.
We need more members of Congress like Ilhan Omar.
But as a Somali refugee and one of the first Muslim Americans to serve in Congress, Ilhan has been under constant attack from far-right extremists spreading misinformation and hate.
And because of her leadership in calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of Israeli hostages, the attacks and hate have only ramped up, leading to death threats and racist attacks.2 Yet despite these attacks, Ilhan has not wavered.
Far-right billionaires and AIPAC’s Super PAC want to keep Ilhan’s perspective and leadership out of Congress — and pave the way for a MAGA takeover of Congress and the White House instead. That’s why they spent millions to defeat her in 2022, and it’s why she will be a target for dark money attacks again in 2024.
Can you split a donation of $10 or any amount today to help support Ilhan’s campaign and WFP’s organizing for our congressional champions next year?

In solidarity,
Working Families Party
