 Healthcare doesn’t help you if you can’t afford it. And yet, last month, Republicans were encouraged to “never give up” on their goal of repealing the Affordable Care Act and ripping quality, affordable healthcare access away from millions of Americans. Gutting the ACA would end critical programs for over 100 million people with pre-existing conditions, threaten coverage for 69 million Americans on Medicaid, put 40 million people’s health insurance at risk …and so much more. It’s no exaggeration to say that lives would be at stake. Every family across the state and the country deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare. If you’re able, will you pitch in to ensure I can stand up to this dangerous GOP agenda and defend our healthcare in Congress? I’ve never stopped fighting to keep Oregon families safe and healthy. I was proud to vote to expand healthcare coverage for over a million families, kids, and seniors in the Oregon State Legislature. And when I get to Congress, I’ll not only fight to preserve and expand healthcare coverage for Oregon families, but I’ll be ready to go toe-to-toe with anyone who wants to take that coverage away. So please, will you help me get to Congress to do just that? I can’t do this without you.
