As a member of the House, I worked directly with the Trump Administration on the Opioid Reduction Task Force. As your Senator, I will work with anyone --Republican or Democrat -- to lock up drug dealers, get tough on crime, and protect our Tribal communities. You can watch a full video of the committee remarks here.
The Lugert-Altus Irrigation District (LAID) serves as the local partner for the W.C. Austin Project in Altus, Oklahoma to provide water to the City of Altus, Altus Air Force Base, 25,000 people using rural water districts, and to farmers harvesting 48,000 acres of cotton crops. On Wednesday, we talked about the importance of this irrigation district and how we will continue working with the Altus community to ensure infrastructure costs are affordable and water remains accessible.
