In his New York Times piece, Nicholas Kristof shared Mercy For Animals undercover footage to detail the harrowing experiences pigs face in industrial farms.
Our billboard in Times Square—"Change Food, Change Everything"—encouraged people to choose animal-free foods.
We took out a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal calling on Kroger to keep its promise to create a 100% cage-free egg supply chain by 2025.
Our organizing team grew our on-the-ground actions.

We held our largest demonstration ever. On March 2, 140 Mercy For Animals global staff members and Mexico-based outreach volunteers chanted for compassion at Mexico City's Monumento a la Revolución.
We rolled out six hubs across the United States and Canada for volunteer organizers who are building power for our shared mission.
We collaborated with celebrity changemakers.

For Earth Day, over 70 acclaimed chefs and influencers from around the world signed an open letter by Mercy For Animals and other coalition members calling on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to enforce stricter emissions standards at factory farms.
Ryan Eggold, Jessica Parker Kennedy, and Moby collaborated with us to gather support on social media for the Industrial Agriculture Accountability Act.
