Media outlets are now turning a blind eye to this first whistleblower scandal engulfing the Inslee Administration, with no follow up to the allegations that an economist was forced out for refusing to “jimmy” gas-price numbers to support the governor’s carbon tax lies.
Shift Washington

Friends,

We hope this email finds you surviving the chaos of politicians scrambling for your wallet this December. We know that liberal bigwigs, including gubernatorial wannabe Attorney General Bob Ferguson, are in a state of financial panic before the state’s elected official fundraising freeze kicks in at midnight tonight.

The Democrats’ desperation offers us a golden opportunity to highlight the far-Left’s artful dance of taking money from their favorite special interests with one hand while doling out taxpayer dollars to those same friends with the other. It’s a decades-long virtuous cycle they’ve engaged in for their financial – and electoral - advantage.

Of course, expecting mainstream reporters to ask tough questions about the Democrats' never-ending fundraising circus is a very long shot. And now their reluctance to challenge Gov. Jay Inslee on his administration’s week-old whistleblower scandal is even more outrageous.

Media outlets are now turning a blind eye to this first whistleblower scandal engulfing the Inslee Administration, with no follow up to the allegations that an economist was forced out for refusing to “jimmy” gas-price numbers to support the governor’s carbon tax lies. The whistleblower’s charge is as explosive as it is easy to believe, that “his career was ruined for his refusal to lie about how a new state policy, according to his mathematical calculations in early 2023, would jack up prices at the pump by 45 to 50 cents per gallon.”

Unlike those media outlets, we at Shift WA have been highlighting the questions that this scandal has raised – and would be asked if reporters were interested in finding out the truth about Gov. Inslee’s costly carbon tax. And, while the local media nap through this scandal, we're wide awake, doing what we do best – keeping you informed and holding the media's feet to the fire.

But our efforts rely entirely on the support of grassroots donors like you.

Will you consider contributing $100, $50, or even $25 today to help us continue our work? Your contribution helps us stay in the game, on your side!

Thank you,

The Shift WA Team
