Yet, that’s exactly what MAGA Republicans in the 8th Circuit federal court are doing right now: The 8th circuit federal court recently ruled in favor of effectively barring citizens and civil rights groups from suing over discriminatory voting practices.

If this ruling stands, minority voters will stand to lose the most. It’ll be up to the Justice Department to decide whether a case deserves to be heard in court or not — and the staffing of this agency depends on who’s in the White House.
