Hi John,
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, AQE has canceled our upcoming in-person events. We all share in the collective responsibility of slowing down the spread of the virus, and we decided that this is a necessary precaution to ensure everyone stays safe.
But the work can’t stop, and won’t stop. We may not be able to gather in person, but New York's legislators are forging ahead with the $178 billion budget — with or without us. This means we're pivoting to actions that you can take from wherever you are. We need to be even louder in Albany than we ever have before, and to do that we are going to need to use every medium available.
#CantStopWontStop Virtual Rally
Join us from wherever you are on Tuesday, March 17, as thousands of New Yorkers in cities around New York State make a stand for public schools! Instead of spending a whole day traveling to Albany, we’re asking each of you to commit to spending 1-3 hours on Tuesday March 17th to taking actions that you can do from anywhere.
