John, the biggest deadline of the year is only a few weeks away: the FEC end-of-year deadline.

These are quarterly benchmarks when campaigns are required by law to publicly report their finances for the previous three months. Our final FEC report is a sign of the strength of and enthusiasm for our movement.

Why is this one so important? Because this is the last FEC deadline before the election year is officially here.

We need to come out of this deadline in a strong position financially because Congressman Clyburn and Democrats in critical races will be on the ballot less than a year from now, and they’re facing a challenging playing field. House control hasn’t switched control during a presidential year in almost 75 years.

We’ve set a year-end goal of $50,000. We know it might sound like a lot, but this is the perfect chance to show the Congressman we’re willing to work just as hard as he does for our country in Congress. 

A lofty goal like that means our team will be reaching out to you more often this month as we get closer to the FEC deadline because we’re relying on your help to reach our end-of-year goal.
