Republicans have dominated the Kansas legislature for decades. It can be difficult to break into those spaces as just one person, but the Kansas Democratic Party can serve as a wedge to get the folks we need in those seats. The state party is great for:
Recruiting Candidates: Our team reaches out to experienced community leaders and others willing to stand up for what's right so they can be trained to win in 2024. Developing County Parties: We work with our county parties and our constituency groups like the Food and Farm Caucus and the Young Democrats Caucus so they can engage different Kansans and we can all build the party together. Providing Resources: It's much more efficient for the Kansas Dems to offer support staff, voter data, and other supplies at scale. We're able to build long-term field support in a way that many candidate campaigns do not have the time for.
