Dear John,

Ready for a little good news in your life today? Here it comes.

Last week, we told you about Herman—a dog at Chicago Animal Care & Control, the city pound, who was covered in lesions and lacerations and severely underweight. When we met Herman, his fate was uncertain. With your support, we brought him to PAWS Chicago.

And today he's a perfect example of what the PAWS Chicago community accomplishes together every day.

Herman is transforming from sad, hurting, and wary to a cuddly, belly rub-loving, bundle of joy—and we’re so happy to help give him a second chance.
We sure hope seeing Herman makes you as happy as he's making us.

On behalf of Herman and all the homeless pets we have yet to save, thank you for helping us build a No Kill Chicago one life at a time.
