Yesterday, my husband, Adam, introduced himself. Today it’s my turn! I’m Jane Stein, Josh’s mother.

Adam and I are proud of Josh’s steadfast commitment to protect North Carolina, its people, and its future. At a time when so many of our most fundamental freedoms are under attack, it’s essential to have leaders willing to step up and defend them. Josh is such a leader.

Unfortunately, polling shows that the race for governor is a toss-up, and Josh’s victory isn’t assured. North Carolina needs all of us to help support Josh’s campaign.

Hi John, I’m Adam Stein, Josh’s dad.

I’m so proud of him and so grateful that so many of you have joined our team. We are working hard to ensure Josh is North Carolina’s next governor. Defeating Josh’s extremist GOP opponents won’t be easy. Together, we can do it. Pitch in any amount to say you’re with us.

My wife Jane and I taught our kids that it’s important to fight for what’s right, even if it isn’t easy. Back in the mid-1960s, my partners and I founded North Carolina’s first integrated law firm. We fought for civil rights and against segregation and discrimination. We faced intense resistance. Racist extremists firebombed our firm’s offices. We continued fighting to vindicate people’s civil rights.

Now, new extremists are working to undo so much of the progress we’ve made for civil rights, women’s rights, voting rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and more.

Right-wing extremism is a threat to the values we share, John, but I know that Josh is ready to hold the line and fight for what’s right. But to succeed, he needs your help.

Josh and his GOP opponent are neck-and-neck in the polls. We can’t afford to let the outcome of this race come down to chance. Josh urgently needs your support NOW to deliver a victory for North Carolina. We can’t wait.
