John,

A new poll from Data for Progress once again shows that a majority of ALL
voters, including 76% of Democrats, support a ceasefire and think we
should only send military funding to Israel if they meet human rights
conditions.

There may be division in our country, but it’s clear that most people
stand united against genocide and the U.S. government’s financial support
for it.

Despite the overwhelming support for a permanent ceasefire and the release
of all Israeli and Palestinian hostages, only 11% of Congress has stood on
the right side of history on this issue, including every member of the
Squad.

Thanks to the courageous leadership of our Justice Democrats incumbents
like Cori Bush, Rashida Tlaib, Jamaal Bowman, Summer Lee, Ilhan Omar,
Ayanna Pressley, and AOC, in addition to the hard work of pro-peace
organizers across the country, the momentum for a ceasefire continues to
grow day by day.

We started with only 18 cosponsors of Cori and Rashida’s ceasefire
resolution; today, there are 60 members of Congress backing it, and
organizations like the United Auto Workers and Doctors Without Borders
have joined us.

It’s clear where the people stand on this issue, and how strong of a grip
Republican billionaire-funded, anti-Palestinian groups like AIPAC have on
both sides of the aisle in Washington.

Our bloc of young, Black and brown, working-class, progressive champions
are facing unprecedented attacks in these months leading up to the
Democratic primary elections, including $100 million in AIPAC spending
against them. We need to have their backs.

Outside groups funded by GOP mega-donors think they can defeat us next
year and maintain the status quo. Let’s show them what we’re made of.

Do not worry if you cannot afford to make a contribution — we understand that
this is a difficult time.

There are other ways to make an impact in support of peace and equality in
Israel and Palestine: please urge your member of Congress to support a
ceasefire through [ [link removed] ]Adalah Justice Project’s petition or by calling them
using [ [link removed] ]Jewish Voice for Peace’s dialer here. Your voice matters in this
critical moment.
