Kit-Packing Events this Fall
The fall held great opportunities to assemble kits. A big thanks to all those who spent time packing!
In September, Macon UMC's Serving Saturday crew assembled 500 [link removed] UMCOR Menstrual Hygiene Kits.

In November, the North Central District hosted a kit-packing day at various locations across the district. Volunteers packed a total of 200 [link removed] flood buckets (or cleaning kits) and 100 [link removed] hygiene kits at each site and raised a remarkable fundraising achievement of over $16,000. Well done, North Central District!

On Nov. 7, the Central Methodist University Center for Faith and Service assembled 200 buckets.

Just a few days later, on Nov. 11, Church of the Shepherd in St. Charles assembled 200 buckets and 200 menstrual hygiene kits.

The key to being prepared is to make people aware of the plan, both church and community, and to practice and update your plan on a regular basis. This guide will help you to think through and formulate a disaster response plan for your local church. [link removed] Download the free guide→
