Comrades,
Denver DSA’s Steering Committee has decided to cancel
the March Business Meeting. We recognize that this is a crucial time for
action around our chapter priorities and engagement in Bernie’s 2020
campaign, but we do not take the COVID-19 threat lightly and we want all
of our members to stay safe and not put each other at risk. We
encourage everyone to take precautions as recommended by the CDC.
In the meantime, please join us for a Zoom call at the same time as our scheduled meeting (Saturday 3/14 2-4pm) to discuss rapid response to the COVID-19 crisis. Check slack or email [email protected]
for more details. We will be brainstorming ways to advocate for
healthcare and housing justice, and how to provide mutual aid for those
most affected and at risk.
The cracks in the capitalist system
are showing, and we have an opportunity to advocate for our values as
the general public becomes aware of just how broken our system is. Do
not fall into despair; now is a crucial time in the fight for justice
for all.
