You know what I hate?
When politicians won't face their constituents at public Town Hall meetings.
When politicians put the interests of CEOs and billionaires ahead of the hardworking people they’re supposed to represent in Congress.
When politicians pander to their out-of-touch party leaders and the most extreme base of their party, rather than everyday folks like you and me.
That’s Marsha Blackburn in a nutshell. I’m fed up with it – and I’m doing something about it.
I’m running for Senate to be a voice for all Tennesseans, no matter your ZIP code, party affiliation, or salary. We’re building a multi-generational, multi-racial, multi-party coalition capable of taking on Marsha Blackburn and the corporate special interests backing her campaign.
And I could use your help today. I’m up against my fundraising deadline – the last checkpoint until my FEC filing deadline this month. I need 500 supporters to join me and Democracy Defense Action in the fight. Can we count on you to split a donation?
Your support shows Marsha that her decades in Washington are over. It gives my team the early resources we need to build the infrastructure TN Democrats need to win next year. Your contribution also proves to the naysayers we’re in it for the long haul.
Together, we have the power to stick it to entrenched politicians like Marsha Blackburn, who are only looking out for themselves – and enact real change for our communities.
But that work won’t be easy. Our campaign relies on grassroots donors, and that means I need to ask for your help often, especially when we’re facing big deadlines like Thursday’s mid-quarter deadline.
Please split a contribution between me and Democracy Defense Action right here & right now so, together, we can stick it to Marsha Blackburn and corrupt Republicans everywhere.
Thanks,
Gloria Johnson
