Picture this: a sea of green weeds reaching out of the water. Cattails and
oyster beds. The coastal wetlands of Louisiana sustain local communities and
their fishing economies. They also protect the coasts against flooding and storm
surges from climate-fueled hurricanes.
The Department of Energy is considering a massive export gas facility that would DESTROY coastal wetlands and spew toxic pollution into the environment and communities! The good news is that this project isn’t approved yet – and your urgent message to the DOE could help STOP this dangerous gas facility! Please, Friend, protect coastal communities and wetlands
and tell the Department of Energy to REJECT the CP2 LNG gas project!

Louisiana too. The emissions it would create is the equivalent to 51 coal-fired power plants! To put it another way, that’s 42-million gas powered cars. This facility is a ticking CLIMATE-BOMB if approved.
As storms surge and fires rage with increasing intensity every year, we can’t
afford to build more fossil fuel infrastructure that will spiral our planet into
further climate catastrophe. Louisiana communities can’t afford more fossil fuel
