DLGA

Did you hear the news? The DLGA just selected Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan as our new chair. This is the first time a national party organization has ever been chaired by a Native American woman! 🥳

We already know she’s going to do amazing things, but it’s daunting to be the first. Can you let Peggy know you have her back by signing her congratulations card?

SAY CONGRATS: SIGN PEGGY’S CARD →
Picture of Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan, a young woman with long brown hair in a pink blazer and Native-made earrings

As lieutenant governor of Minnesota, Peggy is America’s highest-ranking Native woman in elected office and she doesn’t shy away from using her platform to represent those who for so long have been left behind. She established the nation’s first Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives Office, stands up to the far-right’s attacks on trans and reproductive rights, and mentored the next generation of diverse leaders as a trainer with the Wellstone Academy.

We’re super proud to have her leading us into the 2024 elections. Let’s tell Peggy we have her back, just like she has ours! Tell Peggy congrats on her historic election to chair our national party committee →
