Friend,
Sometimes, the work of our government in Washington, D.C., can feel a million miles away from the realities we face in our day-to-day lives here in New York.
But this year, our office secured over $15 million for real programs that support members of our community through the Federal Community Projects Fund. Across medical advancements, environmental resiliency, youth education, mental health initiatives, and more, these funds are tackling essential challenges and making needed improvements here at home.

I could only bring home this needed funding for our community because in 2022, President Biden and our Democratic Leadership in the House and Senate brought back the Community Project Fund after the Republican-led House prohibited the practice in 2011. And for next year, with projects already approved, Republicans in the House are threatening to cut these funds that our local organizations rely on.
Again and again, we see examples of how Republican leadership fails our communities. And if we don’t get the majority back for Democrats in 2024, even more programs our working families rely on will be on the chopping block.

Will you commit to supporting Democrats in 2024? [[link removed]]
