Last week, in a historic bipartisan vote, George Santos was expelled from Congress amid allegations of massive fraud. A Congressional ethics investigation found that Santos illegally used campaign donations to support lavish personal spending, and Democrats and Republicans came together and voted to expel Santos from the U.S. House . . . but not all Republicans.
Freedom Caucus Chair Scott Perry stood by the disgraced former Congressman. In fact, one of the last things Santos did before leaving the House floor was shake hands with his buddy, Scott Perry.

Santos wasn't the only member of Congress disgraced last week. Earlier in the week, temporarily unsealed court documents revealed more about Perry's central role in attempts to overturn the 2020 Presidential election. Perry had been fighting in court since last year to keep this information from the public.
We know why Perry wanted to keep these secret. We know that he is a co-conspirator in the attempted insurrection and a bigger disgrace than George Santos. Unfortunately, Perry is not being held to account like Santos.
