Dear Friend,
I'm thrilled to report that there is still time to be part of our $50,000 2X Match Challenge and help us unlock this special match. Can you please take a moment and make your first gift now, while it can go 2X as far?
Nancy Creel-Gross has generously pledged $50,000 to the Association, offering this incredible $50,000 2X Match Challenge to keep our momentum going. As part of this offer, made in memory of her late husband, Alan Gross, who passed away from younger-onset Alzheimer's disease, she will match every donation we receive before December 31 — up to $50,000 — to help fund local care and support. That means your donation today can go 2X as far in our efforts to help provide care and support and accelerate research.
We have a big goal in sight and we're so close to achieving our $50,000 2X Match Challenge goal, but we can't get there without you. Your first gift can have TWICE the impact and help push progress forward in the fight against Alzheimer's.
There are many reasons we can reflect on 2023 as a year of progress. One of the most noteworthy achievements to highlight is our remarkable $100 million investment into research initiatives, which demonstrates the momentum we're building in dementia research. Our investments today will lead to breakthroughs tomorrow.
In our relentless pursuit of progress, we won't rest until everyone living with Alzheimer's or dementia of any kind — at any stage — can get the treatment and care and support they need and deserve. That's why your gift to our $50,000 2X Match Challenge today is urgently needed.
We need your help to meet this $50,000 2X Match Challenge and continue making a meaningful impact for all people living with Alzheimer's.
Our journey to end Alzheimer's is far from over. We must continue advancing promising research. We must keep providing quality care and support programs. We must keep advocating for policy change. We must keep fighting for everyone living with the disease — and we need your help right now.
We've never needed you more. Please make a gift that can go 2X as far in the fight against Alzheimer's. |

Alzheimer's is an escalating global public health crisis — more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's, and over 11 million family members and friends are providing their unpaid care. As the size of the U.S. population aged 65 and older continues to grow, so, too, will the number of Americans living with Alzheimer's or another dementia.
- 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia.
- Alzheimer's kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.
- By 2050, nearly 13 million Americans are projected to be living with Alzheimer's.
Friend, I know numbers like this are shocking, but they represent real people and real lives lost. It's urgent we fight back against this devastating disease to get closer to the day when we can find a cure. Your gift right now can make DOUBLE the impact during our $50,000 2X Match Challenge. By making your first gift in the fight against Alzheimer's, you can do TWICE as much to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
With your generous support, we can continue fighting for a more hopeful future for everyone impacted by Alzheimer's. Join the worldwide movement to fight Alzheimer's and other dementias. Please give whatever you can now. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
P.S. I wanted to reach out to you once again about this special opportunity to DOUBLE your impact in the fight against Alzheimer's. Your generous donation to our $50,000 2X Match Challenge can advance promising Alzheimer's research and treatments and help provide care and support. Please don't wait to double your impact in the fight against Alzheimer's. Thank you.
